SONY Launches Google TV Set
According to foreign media reports,

Yoshihisa Ishida, senior vice president of SONY's TV business, said the unstable relationship between Google and the Chinese government makes it more difficult to launch this kind of TV in China than it is in Japan and Europe.

Ishida said that because of the size of the Chinese market and the number of Internet users in China, he expressed hope for the Chinese market.
However, he said there are still some hurdles for the sale of such televisions in China.
Google pulled its search engine out of China in March this year to protest against censorship.
There is uncertainty in the future of Google in China.
Ishida said China is a huge market.
We should be able to sell this kind of TV set in China in some way.
SONY's Google TV can play Youtube and online content in addition to playing normal TV programs.
This kind of TV allows users to search Google like PC.
For example, users can view information about a baseball team while watching the broadcast.
Ishida said that in 3 years, 70% of the TV will be able to connect to the Internet.
