The statistics released by Shenzhen customs in November 18th showed that in the first 10 months of this year, the total value of imports and exports of Shenzhen was 2 trillion and 390 billion yuan, of which 1 trillion and 350 billion yuan was exported, an increase of 3.8%. Among them, the export of private enterprises is particularly bright.

From the perspective of trade partners, Shenzhen's growth in imports and exports to the EU and ASEAN is good. According to statistics, before October, Shenzhen imported and exported 354 billion 120 million yuan to ASEAN, an increase of 2.2%, and 254 billion 750 million yuan to the EU's imports and exports, an increase of 15%.

At the same time, Shenzhen's export to the countries and regions along the "one belt and one way" has increased rapidly, and the market diversification has achieved certain results. In the first 10 months, Shenzhen exported 269 billion 810 million yuan to the "one belt along the way", an increase of 12.3%, which accounted for 18.4% of the total export value of the city from 18.4% in the same period last year to 20%.

It is worth mentioning that from the perspective of trade, general trade exports are the main driving force for the growth of Shenzhen's exports. In the first 10 months, Shenzhen's general trade exports increased by 620 billion 170 million yuan, an increase of 9.2%, which led to 4 percentage points of positive export.

Since last year, the situation of international trade has been changing. Some enterprises in Shenzhen have dropped orders and operating difficulties. Private enterprises bear the brunt.

However, with the implementation of a series of policies to support the development of the private economy, the business environment has been effectively improved, stimulating the vitality of private enterprises and promoting the development of import and export to high quality. In addition, since last year, China has continuously adjusted the export tax rebate rate of some products, and the effect of tax reduction and tax reduction policy appears, which is conducive to reducing the cost of enterprises and increasing import and export power.

Shenzhen's private economy has boundless vitality and strong competitiveness. It has grown to become the backbone of boosting the quality of Shenzhen's economic development. Private enterprises continue to lead and import and export, and their advantages are further increased.

In the first 10 months, Shenzhen's private enterprises imported and exported 1 trillion and 370 billion yuan, an increase of 4.4%, accounting for 57.5% of the total imports and exports of the city, up 3.9 percentage points from the same period last year, 21.1 percentage points higher than that of foreign-funded enterprises.

Shenzhen's high-tech products and traditional superior products both exert their strength. Among them, exports of tablet computers, lamps and ceramics and other products are better.

In the first 10 months, the export of electromechanical products and labor-intensive products in Shenzhen was 1 trillion and 40 billion yuan and 154 billion 470 million yuan, respectively, increasing by 1.4% and 11.5% respectively. Among the better growing varieties, the export of tablet computers increased by 34.6%, the export of lamps and lanterns increased by 17.3%, and the export of ceramic products increased by 25.4%.

On imports, imports of agricultural products and pharmaceuticals grew rapidly. Imports of agricultural products increased by 54 billion 650 million yuan, an increase of 13.4%. Among them, fresh dried fruits and nuts increased by 19.7%, meat increased by 50.1%, water and seafood increased by 29%, and during the same period, the import of pharmaceuticals increased by 21.9%.

China's foreign trade faces various challenges in 2019, and the growth rate of foreign trade is not optimistic. But it is not easy for foreign trade to maintain moderate growth.
