In June 2020, The Added Value Of Industries Above Designated Size Will Increase By 4.8%

In June, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 4.8% on a year-on-year basis (the growth rate of the following added value is the actual growth rate after deducting price factors), and the growth rate was 0.4 percentage points faster than that in May. In June, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 1.30% over the previous month. From January to June, the added value of industries above designated size decreased by 1.3% year on year.
In June, the added value of the mining industry increased by 1.7% year-on-year, 0.6 percentage points faster than that in May; the manufacturing industry increased by 5.1%, and the growth rate dropped by 0.1%; the power, heat, gas and water production and supply industry increased by 5.5% and 1.9% respectively.
In terms of economic types, in June, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 4.9%, joint-stock enterprises increased by 5.0%, foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan increased by 4.2%, and private enterprises increased by 4.8%.
In terms of industries, in June, 26 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. Agricultural and sideline food processing industry decreased by 2.4%, textile industry increased by 3.2%, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 4.0%, non-metallic mineral products industry increased by 4.8%, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 6.3%, nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 2.8%, general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 7.4%, special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 9.6%, automobile manufacturing industry increased by 13.4%, railway and ship industry increased by 13.4% The manufacturing industry of shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment decreased by 1.2%, the manufacturing of electrical machinery and equipment increased by 8.7%, the manufacturing of computer, communication and other electronic equipment increased by 12.6%, and the production and supply of electric power and heat increased by 6.3%.
By region, in June, the added value of the eastern region increased by 5.4%, the central region by 4.7%, the western region by 4.6%, and the northeast by 6.9%.
In terms of products, 355 out of 612 products increased year on year in June. Steel 115.85 million tons, an increase of 7.5%; cement 228.65 million tons, an increase of 8.4%; ten kinds of non-ferrous metals 5.08 million tons, an increase of 3.1%; ethylene 1.59 million tons, down 4.3%; 2.311 million vehicles, an increase of 20.4%, including 114000 new energy vehicles, a decrease of 18.6%; power generation capacity of 630.4 billion kwh, an increase of 6.5%; crude oil processing capacity of 57.87 million tons, an increase of 9.0%.
In June, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.8%, 0.5 percentage points higher than that of the same month last year; the export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 1065 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 2.6% over the same period of last year.
