Intangible Cultural Heritage: Xiangyunsha Cultural Heritage And Innovation Forum Held In Beijing

As an excellent representative project of protection, inheritance and innovative development in the category of textile intangible cultural heritage, sericulture and silk weaving are not only the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people's labor, but also the cultural identity of the Chinese nation. For five thousand years, a unique Chinese style sericulture and silk weaving culture have been formed. Among them, the silk woven by silk also served as a "civilization messenger" for exchanges and mutual learning between the East and the West, which had a very important impact on the world's political, economic and cultural development through the Silk Road. In the current inheritance and protection, Xiangyun yarn should fully explore and make use of its outstanding traditional cultural connotation, pass on cultural pride and strengthen cultural self-confidence with fashionable innovative design. On the afternoon of the 23rd, at the promotion meeting of high-quality development of the fragrant cloud yarn industry, intangible cultural heritage experts, university scholars, industry researchers from various fields, through the combination of the keynote report and the round table meeting, deeply discussed the suggestions and plans to promote the steady development of the fragrant cloud yarn industry, from talent training, enterprise needs Brand promotion and other aspects provide feasible suggestions and guidance for the future development direction of the fragrant cloud yarn industry.

The promotion and release activity of silkworm silk culture, art and featured products lasts for three days from October 22 to 24. After the opening ceremony, the guests also visited the "Cloud Reveal" fashion clothing exhibition. The exhibition was elaborately created by Professor Jin Gui, one of the top ten clothing designers in China, the ambassador for the promotion of intangible textile heritage in China, and the dean of the School of Arts of South China Agricultural University.

Chinese ink color series, day and night series, commercial tea series, business series, Yunqi series and other exhibits in the exhibition, as well as Xiangyun gauze screens, pillows, women's shoes, bags, scarves and other products in the cultural and creative exhibition, reflect that the design team has achieved a delicate balance between traditional aesthetics and modern fashion through color fusion, style deconstruction, national style printing, modern accessories and other ways, Create a fusion paradigm between Chinese traditional cloud gauze culture and modern aesthetics, and show the organic combination of intangible cultural heritage and fashion. Xiangyun yarn, also known as Rang yarn and silk, is one of the few pure plant dyes and river mud dyed silkworm silk fabrics in the world. The fabric has gone through more than 30 processes, such as soaking, drying and sealing, and then is covered and dyed with river mud unique to the Pearl River Delta.

Xiangyun yarn is a unique silk fabric in Guangdong, and its dyeing and finishing techniques have been included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2008. It is a "unique" and "unique" product in the world's manual plant dyeing production mode, and is known as the "soft gold" in textiles.
