Media NEWAGE recently reported that the Bangladesh government has announced that it will modify the wage structure system of the domestic garment industry, which is the result of the unanimous discussion of the three party minimum wage board.

During the signing of the agreement, factory owners visited the government and the wage board, hoping to delay the implementation of the new wage policy for 4 months and seek new industrial stimulus policies.

Finally, the government agreed to delay the implementation of the new wage system for 3 months.

The Minister of labor said that the new wage system should have been implemented second weeks before September.
