According to customs statistics, the export of Chinese cashmere and products from January 2010 to September was 900 million US dollars, up 23.2% from 2009.

Among them, 1901 tons of cashmere and no wool export were exported, amounting to US $140 million in exports, up 44% and 64% compared with the same period last year, and the export of cashmere products was US $780 million, up 17.9% over the same period last year.

Specifically, cashmere yarn exports 2837 tons, the amount of $23 thousand and 700, an increase of 22% and 44.8% compared to the same period, cashmere scarf 81 million 620 thousand U. s.dollars, an increase of 15.3% over the same period; cashmere sweater 430 million U. S. dollars, an increase of 7% over the same period.

Looking at this year, cashmere exports continued to grow by more than 20% from 1 to September this year.

This shows that China's cashmere industry has not completely come out of the trough, but at the same time, it means that there is still much room for growth of cashmere exports.

In the first three quarters of this year, the price of raw materials in cashmere industry has been running at a high level, and the selling price of products has not risen. Due to the general lack of bargaining power of export enterprises, it is difficult to digest the pressure of rising costs and the appreciation of RMB. Under the influence of the trade environment, the export growth of cashmere in the fourth quarter may fall somewhat, but it will still maintain a good export trend. It is estimated that the annual growth rate will be around 15%.
