footwear industry

The meeting was presided over by the vice mayor of Jinjiang, Xu Hongcheng.

Reporters learned from the meeting that after a period of intense preparations, all the work of the shoe fair went smoothly. At present, the activities and booth arrangement of the shoe Fair have been basically confirmed.

Up to now, 1469 booths have been confirmed and 91.8% of the total booth numbers have been completed, including 569 finished shoes, 475 shoe machinery and 395 shoe materials, 81.3%, 95% and 98.7% of the planned number respectively, and the Taiwan pavilion has confirmed 60 booths.

The reporter learned from the meeting that at present, the streets and towns have been completed relatively smoothly, and the West bin has completed the exhibition of 14 booths; Chen Dai town has completed 178 exhibition booths and completed 89% of its tasks; the pool shop has completed 60 exhibition booths, and the town government has subsidized 1000 yuan for each booth of each exhibitor from the financial sector; the interior pit has also completed 70 booths, mainly for slippers.

Xu Hongcheng commented on the work of various departments, and coordinated and solved some difficulties and problems encountered in the preparatory process.

Xu Hongcheng said that the time for the opening of the shoe Fair is already very close. Departments and units should do their jobs and make every effort to ensure that the shoe Fair will be held successfully.

It is reported that the thirteenth Shoe Fair will be opened on April 18, 2011 in the city of Jinjiang, and the Quanzhou Fair will also serve as the main venue.

This shoe Fair will continue to be co sponsored by the Fujian Provincial People's government, China Council for the promotion of international trade and China Light Industry Federation.
