Peru

According to the Vietnam Communist Party reported in September 9th, the Peru investigation authority (INDECOPI) has just announced to Vietnam's functional organs that INDECOPI did not decide to impose anti-dumping duties on hats and footwear products imported from Vietnam to China and Peru. According to information from Vietnam Ministry of industry and commerce, in May 23, 2006, according to the request of Peru leather and Footwear Association, ndelCurero, CalzadoyAfines, the investigation authorities of Peru conducted anti-dumping investigations on imported textile fabrics and shoes from Vietnam and China. According to this decision, after the conclusion of the investigation, the Peru leather and Footwear Association, ndelCurero, CalzadoyAfines, can not prove that the import hats and footwear products from Vietnam and China have an impact on the shoe manufacturing industry in the country. Therefore, INDECOPI does not impose anti-dumping duties on Peru's hats and footwear products from Vietnam and China.
