According to the news released by Quanzhou foreign trade and economic information network a few days ago, shoe entrepreneurs in Quanzhou, including several shoe export enterprises in Shishi City, are preparing to participate in the preparation work for the mid-term review of EU anti-dumping products against China in October, striving for market economic status and changing the anti-dumping duty rate of 16.5%. According to reports, in October last year, the European Commission imposed a final ruling of 16.5% anti-dumping duty on Chinese leather shoes for a period of two years, which is the largest anti-dumping lawsuit initiated by the EU against China. In October this year, the European Union will impose an anti-dumping duty on China's leather shoes and boots for one year. According to the relevant laws of the European Union, when one year has passed since the anti-dumping investigation has been made, the enterprises involved may apply to the European Commission for interim review and request a re determination of the case, and the European Commission will file the case for review. It is also understood that there are more than 20 Shishi export-oriented shoe enterprises, the export shoes are mainly leather shoes and children's shoes, and the products are mainly exported to Italy.
