Jeff Banks

It has been three years since we signed up in China.

The brand has opened more than a dozen specialized shops in Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong and Shenyang.

Recently, Jeff Banks Xinguang Tiandi store was dressed up and opened, and the reporter had the honor to interview Mr. Jeff Banks, the founder and designer of the brand.

(the following question is "Q", and Mr. Jeff Banks answers "JEFF").

Q: "

English fan

Nowadays, it is often mentioned in fashion circles. As a famous British designer, how do you define "British style"?

Jeff: I think the English style is the cornerstone of the whole European and world fashion industry.

Looking back at the history of women's clothing, we know that the real dress is not from Paris, but the famous British designer George Werth in eighteenth Century.

Men's clothing industry is also developing along with the rise of British military uniform. Saville street is the best witness of this historical process.

Therefore, the design of every masculine dress is derived from the evolution of British fashion elements.

Q: how do you convey the concept of "British" through every product of JEFF BANKS brand?

The design of Jeff:JEFF BANKS studio has always been based on pure British style, and we have never stopped studying British history, and we are looking for inspiration.

Modern men's wear design originates from classic changes.

Q:JEFF BANKS has arrived in China for three years, and now has 6 boutiques and 1 outlets.

At the beginning, after the success of the brand in the UK, Australia and Japan, what makes you look at the Chinese market? What does it mean for you to enter the Chinese market?

Jeff: there is no doubt that the Chinese market is the most promising place in the world's fashion industry today. With the rise of China's economy and the growing concern of the fashion industry, Chinese people are eager for all kinds of things that have the sense of fashion design.

Q: people say

Clothing design

It's a game of gifted people. What do you think is the natural gift, except for the efforts of the day after tomorrow and the love for clothes? How does your family affect your design path?

Jeff: excellent designers, like thermometers in the crowd, respond to public awareness and emotions at any time.

Great designers have to use their fashionable elements to satisfy everyone's needs and confidence with their response and understanding.

I come from a very humble and ordinary family. My father is a metal worker.

Over the years, our whole family understands and appreciates his ability to make an ordinary metal plate into a handicraft with 3D effect, as I do with a cloth that adults can wrap in a flat cloth. We are all craftsmen.

Q: we see that you have always been concerned about the development of the new generation of young designers. Do you have any good suggestions for young designers in China? Have you heard of any Chinese local designer?

Jeff: the reason why I have always been committed to supporting young designers is that I believe they represent the future, and can keep pace with the times and discover the inspiration and fun of fashion elements, and learn from them how the younger generation can change the world.

I suggest that young designers can build their own design styles, and they must express them unswervingly with manuscripts. It is like a successful salesperson who fails to express his good ideas to the public.

Q: in addition to your work, you often attend various social activities including charity. You can see that you are a very passionate and passionate person. How do you maintain such a young mentality?

Jeff: for me, standing at the forefront of fashion design to feel the public's pulse for the development of fashion understanding and fashion trend is very important.

If I fail to perceive every change in the habits of the audience, then my work will not go on.

Q: in addition to cycling, what sports activities do you usually like? The world 2012 Olympic Games in London has entered the countdown. Will you come to the scene?

Jeff: actually I'm more keen on non ball sports. I don't like football or tennis very much, but I like athletics. These programs can focus on physical fitness and muscle training.

I have participated in many marathons and cycling competitions that can also achieve my purpose.

Q: do you have anything about micro-blog, China? There are thousands of fans in the official micro-blog of JEFF BANKS brand in China. What do you want to say to fans who care about brands and pay attention to British fashion men's clothing?

Jeff: thank you very much for the fans of JEFF BANKS China's official micro-blog. Thank you for your interest in JEFF BANKS's design and clothing. Although the Chinese market is both a great opportunity and a great challenge for me, I think it's worth it.

Q: British gentlemen are respected all over the world. What qualities do you think you should possess as a gentleman?

Jeff: as a gentleman, I think the most important quality is honesty, truth and humility, but the most important thing is to have faith.

Q: you've been to China many times. Which city has impressed you? People? Food or something?

Jeff: I love Beijing very much, because Beijing, as a cultural city, has a very long history and a kind of tolerance and friendliness to people living in Beijing.

In addition, I also like and respect the people of Harbin. They live in the cold environment of northern China, but they are full of vitality and enthusiasm. I think Harbin can become a great city of China.

Q: people often put labels on designers, such as "self-confidence" or "narcissism", "persistent" or even "paranoid". Which do you think you belong to?

Jeff: I think I am a keen and very detail oriented person. I often observe very little details and are very sensitive. It is hard to tolerate a little bit of deficiency.

Perfectionism
