Mould

The East China mould market mainly based on Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai accounts for about 40% of China's market share.

This paper expounds the distribution and characteristics of the mould industry in East China, especially in Zhejiang, as well as the general situation of the development of the mould city. At the same time, it also looks forward to the good prospects for the development of the East China mould industry, and analyzes the existing problems.

Since 1990s, China's mould industry has been developing rapidly. The average output value of the mold has increased by about 15%, and its total output value has reached 45 billion yuan in 2003.

With the development of quantity, the quality of mould has also been greatly improved.

However, this development speed still can not satisfy the market demand.

In 2003, the whole country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the same below) imported a total of US $1 billion 369 million, exported US $337 million, and net imports of US $1 billion 32 million after the import and export balance.

The East China mould market mainly based on Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai accounts for about 40% of China's market share.

With the rapid development of the Yangtze River Delta economy, the East China mold market is increasingly valued by people from all over the world.

The development of East China mold originated in Shanghai.

Beginning in 1940s, Shanghai mold was ranked first in the country.

This leading position has been maintained for about 40 years.

Beginning in 1950s, part of Shanghai's mold workers returned to Zhejiang and Jiangsu's hometown, thus starting the history of the development of the two provinces.

The mold workers, known as "foreign copper makers", have been highly praised and have a high social status.

With the development of buttons, zippers, hairpins, shoes, toothbrushes, and later variety of glasses, lighters, stationery, lamps and lanterns, the mold manufacturing in Zhejiang began to develop rapidly in 1950s.

At the beginning, it was mainly made of self-made stamping dies and casting moulds, and then there were pressure plastics, die-casting dies, injection moulds and blow moulds.

In the middle of 50s, professional mold manufacturers began to appear.

In 70s, township enterprises specializing in the production of moulds began to emerge. Since 80s, a large number of individual and private mold processing enterprises have come into being.

Mold development in Jiangsu later in Zhejiang Province, private mold enterprises are much less than Zhejiang.

In other parts of East China, the die development is later than that in Jiangsu.

It is precisely because of the long history of mold manufacturing in Zhejiang and the system characterized by individual and private and market-oriented tradition, the mold manufacturing industry in Zhejiang has been developing rapidly.

With the rapid development of plastic processing, hardware, small household electrical appliances, electronic products and motorcycles, the development speed of Zhejiang mold manufacturing industry has accelerated since the late 80s.

Because the development of the die industry can bring great impetus to the related industries, with the deepening of the reform and opening policy, and the importance and support of the relevant departments in the late 80s, and the propaganda and promotion of the social intermediary organizations such as the die Association, some local governments in Zhejiang began to support and support the mold industry as the pillar industry in the local area. Therefore, since 90s, Zhejiang's mould industry has been developing more rapidly.

Now, the mold market scale of Zhejiang has developed to only second place in Guangdong Province, and its production technology level has also been improved rapidly.

Although the development of Jiangsu die & mold industry has a long history, the main development period is 80s and 90s.

Although the production of Shanghai's mould industry has been developing, its development speed is like saddle. It has been in the lowest valley in the late 80s and early 90s, and it has shrunk.

In the late 90s, the speed of development was obviously accelerated due to the involvement of foreign capital and private capital.

Anhui mould industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and now it has reached the scale of more than 1 billion 500 million yuan.

Shandong has developed rapidly in recent years, and has reached the scale of more than 2 billion yuan.

The mold industry in Fujian and Jiangxi is relatively slow and weak in strength.

In recent years, thousands of private enterprises have been born in Fujian, and foreign-funded enterprises have developed rapidly, and some have reached a larger scale.

Distribution and characteristics: Zhejiang die & mold industry is mainly concentrated in Ningbo and Taizhou. There are more than 4000 production sites in the two regions, of which more than 2000 are professional mold manufacturing enterprises, employing nearly 100 thousand people, and the output value of moulds is about 8000000000 yuan.

Jinhua, Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Jiaxing and other places also have certain strength.

Ningbo, Ninghai, Yuyao, Cixi and Yinzhou mainly produce plastic moulds, and Beilun mainly uses Diecasting Dies.

Xiangshan and Zhoushan mainly rely on casting dies and stamping dies.

The total output value of Ningbo's mould has exceeded 5 billion yuan.

Taizhou's main mold manufacturing enterprises are concentrated in Huangyan and Luqiao. Plastic moulds account for the majority, and the total output value of the moulds has exceeded 3 billion yuan.

In May 2001, Huangyan mold was released as a local characteristic industry in Zhejiang in the seventeenth inventions exhibition held in America.

Jinhua and Wenzhou's moulds are mainly made of their own products, but they also have certain characteristics.

For example, Hangzhou's small and medium-sized precision mold and Shaoxing triangle belt rubber mold are all relatively high level, Jiaxing's mold skin processing and guide parts production is more famous.

Jiangsu's molds are mainly concentrated in Suzhou, Sn, Chang and Nanjing, Jiangyin, Zhenjiang, Xuzhou, Yangzhou and other places, and the output value of the mold is over 4 billion yuan.

Shanghai mold output value has now exceeded 4 billion yuan.

Zhejiang mold industry has some obvious characteristics.

First, mold manufacturing enterprises are almost private enterprises, flexible mechanisms, rapid development; two, the relatively concentrated mold enterprises, has formed a larger mold market, can play a collective advantage; three, the mold can meet different levels of user needs, while a high level of rapid development of mold, has a large proportion; four, after many start-ups, has emerged a number of high-quality backbone enterprises; five is the natural division of specialization, the main business characteristics are obvious; six is the development of local related industries has played a very obvious pull action.

Zhejiang mold industry, represented by Ningbo and Taizhou, has been developing at an annual rate of 15%~20%, which is higher than the national development level.

In recent years, the technology level of Zhejiang's mould industry has improved rapidly.

In the many excellent activities organized by China Die & Mould Industry Association, the high quality mold Zhejiang province accounted for a large proportion.

At the Ninth China International Die & mould technology and equipment exhibition held in 2002, 94 projects were rated as international level and advanced level in China. Zhejiang accounted for 51 items, accounting for 54%.

Due to the continuous improvement of the mould level, the export volume has increased considerably year by year, and has been exported to Europe and America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan, Russia and Hongkong, Taiwan and other countries and regions.

In the mold market, the proportion of commodity moulds is 10 percentage points higher than the national average level.

Many private enterprises, after arduous pioneering and development, have already formed a larger scale and reached a higher level. A group of key enterprises with high popularity in China's mold industry have emerged. Many of them have been identified as high-tech enterprises and have passed the ISO9000 international quality system certification. Their characteristics are obvious, their service objects are clear, and their customers are stable.

In Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong and Anhui, foreign investment has accounted for a large proportion of the die industry, and private enterprises have developed rapidly. Some enterprises with high visibility and obvious characteristics have also been formed, and the export volume has increased year by year.

Jiangsu's precision stamping dies occupy the most important position in the whole country. The injection mold, casting mold and automobile panel die also play an important role in China. The glass mould of Sha Jia bin is famous, Wujin tire mold is numerous, and Kunshan's large molds are exported to all parts of the country.

Shanghai mould is developing at a high speed. Mobile phone mould, lamp mould, automobile decoration mould, household appliance plastic mould and die material are all famous throughout the country, and the whole mould market is very active.

Anhui molds are mainly concentrated in Tongling, Hefei, Wuhu, Chuzhou and Ningguo.

Plastic profile moulds and plastic moulds in Tongling are currently ranked first in the country.

Chuzhou has the characteristics of household appliances, plastic mold, Ningguo is mainly rubber mold, Wuhu is mainly stamping die.

Shandong's molds are mainly concentrated in Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang and Jimo.

Qingdao is dominated by plastic moulds, and the automobile panel dies of Yantai, Weifang and Jimo are strong.

Yantai's fast economic mold and small precision molds and Longkou aluminum extrusion dies are well known throughout the country.

Fujian Quanzhou, Shishi and other places shoes mold and small commodity mold is more developed.

Apart from the natural division of labor, Huangyan and Ningbo have also formed many specialization processes of mold processing.

For example, there are professional mold design companies, mold cavity processing companies, mold materials and mold standard parts company, and electrical processing, polishing, decorative pattern processing, testing, heat treatment and other professional collaborative processing points.

Therefore, the mold manufacturing period is short and the cost is low. Mold products have strong competitiveness in the mold market at home and abroad.

Similar cases have also begun to appear in Jiangsu and Shanghai.

The development of mold industry has stimulated the development of local industries, and the effect is very obvious.

For example, the output value of plastic products, automobile and motorcycle fittings and household appliances in Ningbo and Taizhou has exceeded 40 billion yuan, which has played a great role in the development of local economy.

In the situation of mold market development to a certain scale and level, in order to further develop group advantages and better carry out professional collaboration and develop mold production more quickly, many locals in Zhejiang and Jiangsu supported by local government departments, Xiang Jijian set up a regional mold City, which played a positive role in the development of local mold industry.

The first to build the mold city is Zhejiang, Ningbo, Yuyao.

The development area of Yuyao mould city has reached 1.2 square kilometers, with a total investment of 1 billion 80 million yuan, and more than 500 enterprises have entered the city.

The sales volume of the mold city has reached 1 billion 500 million yuan in 2003, of which sales of mold materials account for more than half.

The mold city has good cooperation conditions. The mold City Management Committee has good service. The enterprises in the mold city enjoy some preferential policies and have high production enthusiasm.

Yuyao mould city is also the first built mold City in China. It enjoys a high reputation. Many domestic and foreign manufacturers visiting, visiting and negotiating business have received many foreign mold delegations.

The small and medium-sized enterprise collaboration network of mould City adapts to the small batch and diversified market demand of the mould, plus the supporting logistics support and obvious price advantage, so it has great competitive advantage.

Huangyan mold market spontaneously formed, mostly gathered in Xicheng area, the total area of the enterprise has reached 2500 mu.

In order to expand the scale, in 2002, it expanded the mold area of 500 mu.

Though there is no city?

A fully functional social collaboration network has been formed in the mold area. From the design, manufacture, assembly, debugging, inspection and supply of raw materials and standard parts, all enterprises with high specialization can cooperate.

Next to Luqiao, Huangyan, the first phase of the planned industrial park is planned to be 845 mu, with an investment of 180 million yuan. It will produce 550 sets of annual engineering plastic moulds, 2000 sets of shoe models, 4000 tons of plastic products and other related products.

It is planned that Huangyan and Luqiao will plan together to form a larger scale mold area and even build a national mold industrial base.

Zhejiang Ninghai mold city started late, but its development is very fast and its posture is good.

The "fifteen" plan of the mold town invested five hundred million yuan, covering an area of 1500 mu.

Since its foundation in December 2000, the first phase of the project to invest 120 million yuan has been completed. 130 enterprises have entered the city, and sales in 2003 have reached five hundred million yuan.

Mold steel and mold standard parts trading center, scientific research information center, personnel training and testing center and related property management facilities are making the mold City rapidly become a mold production base with a certain scale.

Ningbo Beilun is the most concentrated area of die casting die production in China.

To ensure that Beilun mold enterprises have enough space for development and the collective advantages generated by the accumulation of enterprises, the planning of Beilun mold town, which covers an area of 1000 mu, has been put into practice.

The mold city will be divided into four major functional areas, including the mold design training function area, the mold heat treatment center area, the mold precision manufacturing area, and the key enterprises located at home and abroad. The mould manufacturing enterprises, supporting auxiliary enterprises and research and development institutions will collaborate with each other in the mold city to form a mold production base with the characteristics of die casting mold.

The Jiangsu mould experimentation area, located in Kunshan, was built in 1998. It has invested 1 billion 200 million yuan, and there are 110 mold enterprises stationed, of which more than half of foreign mold enterprises accounted for more than half, and in 2003, the output value of moulds has reached 1 billion 500 million yuan (70% of which accounted for foreign capital).

The mold area, which is characterized by attracting foreign investment, is still developing and has a good momentum.

Six enterprises in the area have been assessed as high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu province. In October 2003, they passed the "National Torch Program Kunshan mold industrial base".
