For the first time, after responding to the May 12th Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, the staff at home and abroad at Wanhua Group made an emergency donation for the disaster area. Plus 1000 sets of zero formaldehyde ecological desks and chairs which have been completed for the children in the disaster area, which amount to about 200000 yuan, so far, Wanhua has donated more than 8 million yuan, and this number will continue to be added with the progress of the project.

The above initiatives of Wanhua Group have also been strongly supported by relevant departments of Yantai and Shandong.

Turning to the idea of Wanhua's donation to the fraternity school, the relevant official of Wanhua Group said: "the collapsed schoolhouse in the earthquake has deeply hurt the hearts of millions of Chinese people, but there is no case of casualties in Liu Han Primary School in Beichuan, so that all employees of the enterprise have the desire to build a school that can't shake down."

The reporter learned that the planned Wanhua philanthropic school will refer to other countries' advanced experience in building aseismic houses, and will employ experts in the field of architectural design. Considering the geomorphic characteristics of Beichuan addresses, the materials for building materials will be taken into consideration, and the use of the new international polyurethane environmentally-friendly plates can achieve 9 degree of seismic cracking.

It is understood that this prefabricated room has the characteristics of off-site manufacturing and on-site installation. The construction of more than 4000 square meters of school buildings takes only 3 months and the service life is more than 50 years.
