< p > < strong > American CPSC releases the lead limit for children's products. < /strong > < /p >
< p > recently, the US < a href= "http://sjfzxm.com/news/index_q.asp" > CPSC < /a > issued the final rule on the procedures and requirements for the exemption of lead limits for children's products in the federal Bulletin (FR) (16CFR 1500).
The final rules will come into force in July this year.

< p > < strong > chemical flame retardants in the products will encounter the multi state restriction order of the United States < /strong > /p >
< p > recently, with the start of the 2013 legislative meetings of various states in the United States, the bill on limiting the use of chemical flame retardants has been put on the agenda of many states in the United States. The state governments have placed the order of fire retardants in the registration process, and will control a series of products.
The flame retardant for this proposal mainly includes polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and phosphate esters (TDCPP, TCEP and TCPP).
< /p >
< p > it is understood that chemical flame retardants are widely used in < a target= "_blank" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" > textile > /a > products, upholstered furniture and children's products, plastic products, building insulation materials, the main role is to enhance the fire resistance of products.
In recent years, the public and consumers in the United States are increasingly concerned about the potential health hazards of chemical fire retardants. It has been reported that a large number of toxic and harmful chemical flame retardants, especially polyhalogenated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and other halogen containing flame retardants, will have adverse effects on consumers' nervous system function, fertility and the growth and development of children, and even increase the risk of cancer.
< /p >
< p > the United States has been the main export of our country. < a href= "http://sjfzxm.com/news/index_s.asp > > trade market < /a >, light industry products such as textiles, household products, children's articles and plastic products occupy a large proportion in American products.
The proposal to restrict the use of chemical flame retardants in the United States, including California and more than a dozen states, will have a certain impact on the export and consumption of related consumer goods. For this reason, the inspection and quarantine department reminds the relevant export enterprises: first, we must pay close attention to the latest regulations on the use of flame-retardant agents in the export market.
Actively communicate with local customers to ensure that the export products meet the relevant technical laws and regulations of the United States; two, we need to enhance product upgrading and technological innovation.
We need to develop new flame retardants or new flame retardants instead of traditional chemical flame retardants to improve the market competitiveness of products in the United States. Three, we should strengthen the source control of the use of chemical flame retardants.
When purchasing raw and auxiliary materials, enterprises should consider whether they contain chemical fire retardants which are restricted in use. If necessary, they can be sent to authoritative inspection institutions for testing and verification.
