Autumn Fabric Sales Growth, The Textile Market Will Be Fully Out Of Season

According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, last week (from August 18th to 24th) Keqiao textile price index was 96.93 points, down 1% compared with the previous week.

Analysts of the Ministry of Commerce forecast that sales of fabrics will show a slight growth trend in the autumn market, which will push the textile market out of the off-season.

Specifically, last week, the price index of raw materials was 90.49 points, down 1.4%; the fabric price index was 100.55 points, down 0.2%; the clothing accessories price index was 101.95 points, fell 0.2%; the grey fabric price index was 101.96 points, increased 0.4%; the home textile price index was 98.36 points, basically unchanged from the previous week.

Among the two grade commodities monitored, viscose, clothing materials and lace price indexes rose the top, rising by 1.4%, 1.2% and 0.9% respectively, while other chemical fiber, linings and blended textile price indices decreased by 1.4%, 1.2% and 0.8% respectively.

Under the influence of thunderstorm weather, the volume of China Textile City declined slightly.
