According to the data from the regular research center of the Ying Shi Group Research Center, China's priorities in 2015

Department store

Sales growth has dropped to 3.4%, the lowest level in nearly 6 years.

In 2012, the sales growth of key department stores in China dropped by 9.8 percentage points to 10.3% over the same period last year. At that time, at least 449 department stores were closed nationwide.

Meanwhile, after 2012, sales growth of key department stores was lower than that of national consumer goods.

retail

The total growth rate has been increasing and the growth gap has been expanding.

Although China's department stores were closed shop in 2015, there were 14 brands and 63 stores in the whole year. Compared with 289 stores in the United States, 3 brands were closed.

Ying Shi Group Research Center found that American department stores have entered the era of oligopoly, and large department stores have expanded rapidly, such as Penny's department store, Taghit department store and so on, and the number of stores has been distributed abroad.

On the other hand, China's department stores are smaller in scale, more competitive and less concentrated, and regional differences are obvious.

Therefore, the undeveloped Chinese department stores will expand their scale through mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and so on, so as to enhance the concentration of industries and make the market develop healthier and more mature.

According to statistics of Ying Shi Group Research Center, China in 2015

Department store

Customs stores swept through 17 provinces, autonomous regions, 14 brands and 63 department stores.

From the point of view of the distribution of stores, the department stores in the eastern region are most serious, and Fujian has become a serious disaster area for department stores. In 2015, there were 9 department stores closed.

Among them, only Wanda Department stores are 8 stores in Fujian province.

From the point of view of Guan Dian brand, Wanda Department Stores ranked first in 35 stores, followed by Tianhong Department Store (5), Martha department store (5), and Jinying department store (5).

In addition, the department stores in 2015 not only include national department stores such as Wanda Department store and Wangfujing department store, but also foreign brands such as Parkson, halls shopping mall (Ito), Martha department store and so on.

General manager of Ying Shi Group Research Center, Zhang Ping, President of the RICS, China commercial real estate Specialized Committee, said that the sales performance of traditional department stores continued to decline, and the department store industry was struggling. However, we can still see that department stores such as Beijing SKP have outperformed shopping centers and consistently ranked first in the country.

At present, some department stores are actively pforming, and they are embracing the electricity supplier to take the O2O Road, or pform to the shopping center, or cross the Internet finance.
