The day before yesterday, the Guiyu environmental improvement working group and the District Environmental Protection Bureau jointly launched Guiyu to carry out environmental inspections and crackdowns, and investigated 5 illegal environmental pollution workshops.

The joint inspectors were divided into three groups, and each of them was inspected in three units in Nanyang, Shanghai and Guiyu.

During the operation, law enforcement officers found 5 illegal workshops with environmental pollution in the villages of the Xian Ma, Beilin, ferry and other villages (communities). These workshops did not go through the relevant procedures of environmental protection, there was no matching pollution control facilities, no standardized sewage outlets were set up, and the wastewater produced directly discharged.

At the scene, 10 workers were taken away from the public security organs, and the environmental monitoring stations were sent to the scene for sampling and inspection. Guiyu Environmental Protection Bureau sealed up the illegal production equipment, and the power supply department took power off.

That night, the environmental protection department punished 5 suspected environmental offenses according to law, and the public security organs detained the environmental offenders.

District Public Security Bureau said that the task of training Jiang is very urgent, and the government has great determination to crack down on pollution behavior. It is hoped that those polluting enterprises will stop polluting activities immediately.

At the same time, Guiyu town will form an environmental strike and high pressure situation. The relevant functional departments in the joint area will intensify the crackdown and investigation of environmental violations.
