Vietnam'S Textile And Garment Export To Eurasian Economic Union Will Face The Risk Of Anti-Dumping
Vietnam's Ministry of industry and Trade said on November 23 that following the Circular No. 14-572 of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade once again received a warning from the committee that Vietnam's textile and clothing export volume is about to exceed the specified level and may be subject to trade defense measures, the Vietnamese Ministry of industry and Trade said.
Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade disclosed that from January 2020 to July 2020, Vietnam's exports of skirts and women's clothing (HS codes 6104.41, 6104.42, 6104.43, 6104.44, 6104.49, 6204.42, 6204.44, 6204.49) to eaeu have reached 79.4% of the level stipulated in 2020.
According to Article 2.10 of vn-eaeu FTA, the amount of Vietnamese textile and garment exceeding the specified amount will be subject to the general preferential import tax rate within 6 or 9 months.
