Increase in average yield per mu

According to the survey, the cotton in Yutai County is growing well at present. Due to the continuous rainfall last year, the cotton harvest in this county was delayed and reduced. If the rainfall is moderate in the later part of this year, the sunshine is normal, and there is no other obvious natural disasters, it is estimated that the cotton output of Yutai County in 2023 will be equivalent to that of normal years in previous years, and will increase compared with that of last year. Among them, the estimated output of main products is 96.73 kg/mu, with a year-on-year increase of 3.71%.

Increased production costs

In 2023, the cotton production cost is expected to be 2608.16 yuan/mu, up 0.78% year on year. The rising cost is mainly the fertilizer cost, which is 351.73 yuan/mu, up 5.62% year on year.
