Reporter: it is understood that this sewing machinery industry's "50 strong dealer selection" is the first time to launch, what is the background of its launch?


Yang Xiaojing: the development of our industry and commerce is very special. Unlike the light industrial daily consumer goods, sewing equipment belongs to the means of production, and most of the sales have to rely on distributors.

At present, the six major clusters of sewing machinery are Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Xi'an, Guangdong and Beijing Tianjin areas. Most of them are in line with the garment industry, but there are also some disjointed situations in some areas.

For example, Guangdong is a garment industrial cluster, but Guangdong is seriously lack of sewing manufacturers. Clothing companies have to buy equipment and go to other provinces. The cost of logistics is very high. This requires a large number of local distributors to bring sewing equipment to them. And because of this, Guangdong has produced a giant dealer like Liang Foxiang.

It can be seen that the importance of distributors can not be ignored.


But in fact, the overall development of sewing equipment business has lagged behind the development of manufacturers. There is a great gap in the concept, management and matching of talents. Many dealers still remain in the role of "buying machines for sale and doing simple services". They haven't changed in the past thirty years.

But the garment industry has changed greatly, especially with the rapid development of large enterprises and the increasing technology content. They have changed their tastes when choosing upstream dealers' cooperation. They want our distributors not only to sell products alone, but to provide them with a complete solution service provider.

For example, the pfer of clothing industry is hot now. Large garment enterprises will often set up factories in the Midwest, and purchase new equipment is an inevitable demand. Then, how to design the production line in the workshop, what type of machines to choose, how much logistics should be done, and how to make the most cost saving, can we dealers do these deep services? Dealers like Xiang Xing, Shi Dewei and Fu Cheng can do this, but many dealers can not do it.


To do such a selection, we hope to establish a group of excellent models to play a leading role and demonstration effect in the industry so as to promote the common progress of the industry.

The process of selection is a twists and turns.


Reporter: it is said that this selection has lasted for half a year, and the period has been twists and turns. As a specific supervisor and operator, you should feel a lot. Can you tell us the story?


Yang Xiaojing: the process of selection is indeed a lot of twists and turns.

This year, the Council confirmed the selection exercise, but because it was the first session, and the publicity was not enough, in July this year, the number of dealers initiatively failed to achieve the expected number. At the time, some people in the industry put forward whether or not to do so. If so, the quota should be reduced, from fifty to twenty or thirty.

In the face of difficulties, the association's leadership is resolute: the top 50 election is an important work of the industry determined by the Council. It plays an important leading role in the development of industry and commerce. It must be done and the quota is still set at 50, because there are nearly two large and small sewing machinery dealers in China.


We have taken two effective measures. One is to recommend the right to the local chamber of Commerce, to elect the best dealers in the local market, and finally to make the best choice; two, to recommend the right of recommendation to the backbone manufacturers, and to recommend their best dealers.

The enterprises registered in this way get more and more at once, and the enterprises are expected to achieve the expected goal, so that our selection can be successfully completed.


However, because of the different development concepts of dealers, their attitude towards the selection is different.

For example, a dealer in Guangdong has a strong strength. If we participate in the top ten, we have no problem. We have contacted several times through various channels, but the other side has not yet participated in the review.

On the contrary, the dealers in the central and western regions are very active. A dealer in Shanxi is not a member of the association. He did not issue him at the beginning, but after knowing the news, he contacted the association through various ways and finally entered the top fifty.


Strive for justice, but there are also regrets.


Reporter: there are many choices in the society. There are some commercial purposes in it, and there will be sponsorship. What is the situation of this election? How can we ensure the fairness of the election?


Yang Xiaojing: there is no commercial purpose and no penny sponsorship. The starting point and foothold always focus on industry requirements and enterprise aspirations.

We also strive to make our activities realistic, pragmatic, fair, just and open.

This selection adopts the method of classified selection and quantitative evaluation, and the selection index system includes the integrity, operation scale, operation efficiency, speed of development, and enterprise recognition. The weights are 30%, 25%, 25%, 10% and 10% respectively.

A declaration vote shall be applied to the declaring enterprises that cause serious bad faith or breach of faith in the past two years.

So far, no one has questioned the selection itself.


Reporter: is there any shortcoming or regret in this selection?


Yang Xiaojing: because it was held for the first time, there are still some regrets.

There are three main aspects: first, there is not enough publicity in the early stage, and some dealers do not know the selection. This is also the reason why we have been passive in the process of selection. The second session will learn lessons and do a good job of publicity and promotion. Two, the scientific nature of indicators needs to be strengthened. Three, judging from the effect of the selection, there is a certain gap between the first and the last.

It can be said that the top 50 is not the top 50 in the ideal sense, because some dealers with certain strength have not registered for various reasons. Some dealers intend to lower the data for protecting the enterprises, which will affect the result of the selection more or less.


Downstream orders may tilt to the top 50.


Reporter: what kind of impact will you have on dealers after you predict the result of the selection?


Yang Xiaojing: the aim of the event is to select, commend and demonstrate a number of distribution enterprises that are in good condition, with sound management system, high integrity, strong sense of social responsibility and high recognition. In the industry, we should carry forward the concept of good faith management, promote the formation of a standardized and healthy market operation environment, and drive the whole industry to improve the management level.


Specifically, first, after the 50 strong list is out, we will increase their publicity work. Apart from propagandist typical experiences in the industry, the association will also recommend clothing, leather, furniture and other related industries, so that the downstream enterprises will have a bottom line for selecting partners and may tilt their orders and other resources to them.

As far as I know, in some places, some small clothing enterprises do not know who to look for when sewing machines. They do not understand the strength of local dealers, and usually buy them through friends, and now he can contact them according to this list.

Second, through the selection, we can create a positive atmosphere for helping the strong, strengthening the competition and enhancing the cohesion of the commerce and Trade Commission.

I want to emphasize that this election will be held for two years, and it will continue to persist. We strive to make it really play a catalytic role in the development of the industry.
